High Dosing Noopept: Effects, Discussion, and Video

High Dose Noopept

Noopept is easily on my top ten for nootropics to take for optimal brain function. It’s fast acting, requires low doses, and works awesomely.

And I love the stuff. I use it primarily for working memory, when I need to really comprehend something significantly complex, like a scientific study, or a research paper on something related to gut physiology.

I take it perhaps 5 times a month, and will always keep some around in the nootropics arsenal for specific situations.

But what’s interesting about this compound is that it requires extremely low doses to be as effective as a 4G dose of Piracetam, if not more. The dose range is 13-30MG, with 15MG being a regularly applicable sweet spot for a lot of people.

13MG is perfect for me. I don’t require anymore. My brain only requires a regular optimization of the cholinergic system (the system Noopept primarily works on). Not an extreme optimization of it.

If I take any more than 15MG of Noopept, the effects start to turn from really great, to not very good. I start to get tired, unfocused, and ineffective. My brain feels off, sluggish, and impaired. So 13MG is my sweet spot.

But I know people who require just a bit more, at 20-30MG, and to them, that’s their sweet spot. So, the salient question is, should YOU high dose on Noopept? Will you get side effects? Will it benefit you?

To give you the answer to those questions, and to offer as much value as possible, the salient points, which are explained in the video below, are:

  1. 15MG of Noopept is the average effective dose for most people, but..
  2. Some people’s brains may require better optimization of cholinergic signaling. Therefore:
  3. They’re going to positively respond to higher doses of Noopept. The ideal dose range for these people is 15-30MG.
  4. I know several people who respond better to 20MG of Noopept, than 13 or 15MG.
  5. I know a few people, all of whom are over the age of 40, that take 25MG Noopept doses and swear by it.
  6. People that do not respond well to high dose Noopept, may either not need the extra cholinergic stimulation (facilitation of the neuro-chemical acetylcholine), or they may require B vitamins, minerals like Magnesium, Zinc, and Calcium, to better foster the neurotransmission necessary to get the best effects from such doses. For some people, they’ll also require more acetylcholine available to the brain, to provide the raw material for Noopept to optimize acetylcholine signaling.
  7. Me personally.. I don’t respond well to high doses of Noopept, no matter what I do. It makes me spacey, unfocused, and actually impairs my working memory. And this is because I just don’t require much optimization of the cholinergic system anymore. I use to. But not now.
  8. But generally, 20-30MG of Noopept are perfectly safe, for most people. If you’re thinking about experimenting with higher doses, go for it!
